Job summary

Lincoln Electric in Hamilton is seeking a hands-on assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will report to the Production Supervisor and assemble, wire, and test electrical panels and systems to meet customer specifications.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, be able to lift up to 40 lbs, read a tape measure, and operate power tools. Welding, forklift, and crane experience are assets. We value safety, teamwork, and reliable workmanship in a fast-paced, manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift on a regular basis up to 40lbs.
• Possess problem solving skills, communication skills.
• Ability to use power hand tools for aid in assembly.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Able to understand and interpret the specifications and procedures related to this job.
• Welding experience is a key asset.
• Forklift and crane experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Production Supervisor regarding all electrical/mechanical assembly.
• Assemble and wire small to large electrical panels.
• Route wiring harnesses through structures and sub-assemblies.
• Electrically wire transfer and conveyor systems.
• Mechanically assemble large assemblies and conveyor systems.
• Mechanical assembly of smaller sub-components.
• Ensure that all assemblies of systems meet customer requirements and system specifications.
• Work independently and in team environments in achieving tasks.
• Adhere to and follow all safety regulations, policies and codes, with or without direct supervision.
