Jaylor Fabricating is seeking anAssembler to join our team at our Orton, Ontario location. The role involves assembling fabricated parts, testing, and reading drawings to meet tight specifications. Pay ranges from $21.90 to $26.90 per hour, with a 4x10 shift providing long weekends. Benefits include health coverage after one month and options such as life insurance and disability.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling fabricated and purchased parts as required by the organization.
• Testing and calibrating parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications as required.
• Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints and instructions.

Pay: $21.90 - 26.90 per hour

Requirements

Required Skills

• Experience: 1-5 years mechanical assembly experience is required
• Basic computer skills an asset and experience working within an ERP system is also an asset
• Ability to work within a team and independently
• Must have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the metal fabrication field
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive motions, and lift 50 lbs.
• Attributes: Attention to detail, punctuality, and a collaborative team mindset.
• Able to operate an overhead crane (Jaylor will train and certify, experience is an asset)
• Able to operate forklifts (Jaylor will train and certify, experience is an asset)
• Welding experience an asset.
• Great communication skills
• Has an eye for detail
• Enjoys working with machines
