Job Summary

Coach Canada is hiring a licensed 310T Truck and Coach Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on buses and trucks, ensuring all work meets Ministry of Transportation standards.

Mechanic Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on diesel engines (Detroit, Cummins) and vehicle systems
• Maintain brake, suspension, HVAC, electrical, and wheelchair lift systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
• Follow all safety regulations and documentation standards

Mechanic Qualifications

• Valid 310T License and Ontario Driver’s License (BZ required; A, B, C, D preferred)
• Experience with heavy vehicle diagnostics and repairs
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read technical manuals
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Ability to work independently and flexible hours
• Computer literacy (Lotus Notes, AS400, internet)
• Familiarity with ITS systems, fareboxes, GPS, and electronic signage

Mechanic Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, bending, crawling, climbing, and use of tools

Coach Canada est à la recherche d’un technicien certifié 310T en autocars et camions pour effectuer l’entretien et les réparations de ses autobus et camions, en veillant au respect des normes du ministère des Transports.

Responsabilités Principales

• Diagnostiquer et réparer les problèmes mécaniques liés aux moteurs diesel (Detroit, Cummins) et aux systèmes de véhicules
• Entretenir les systèmes de freinage, de suspension, de chauffage, de climatisation, électriques et dispositifs pour fauteuils roulants
• Effectuer l’entretien préventif et les réparations d’urgence
• Respecter toutes les réglementations en matière de sécurité et les normes de documentation

Exigences

• Permis 310T valide et permis de conduire de l’Ontario avec la classe Z (classes A, B, C, D un atout)
• Expérience en diagnostic et réparation de véhicules lourds
• Compétences en dépannage et capacité à lire des manuels techniques
• Réussir un test de dépistage de drogues et d’alcool
• Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et horaires flexibles
• Connaissance des outils informatiques (Lotus Notes, AS400, Internet)
• Connaissance des systèmes ITS, des lecteurs de titres, GPS, affichage électronique

Exigences Physiques

• Soulever jusqu’à 50 lb (23 kg)
• Station debout prolongée, flexions, rampements, escalade, utilisation d’outils
