Purolator in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, is hiring a Diesel Mechanic for on-site work. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy duty equipment to meet safety and quality goals, and log results in the maintenance database. English proficiency is required for frequent stakeholder communications.
The shift is Monday to Friday, 3:30pm–12:00am (40 hours/week). Pay is $40.19/hour, rising to $49.06/hour after 4 months, with licensing and experience prerequisites as listed.

The Diesel Mechanic inspects, maintains, diagnoses, and repairs assigned on-/off-road and heavy duty equipment to ensure proper function and vehicle safety and meet quality and performance goals.
Language Requirement:Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders. This requirement is justified by the nature of the responsibilities and operational needs.
