Job summary

Purolator is hiring a Courier in Sudbury, ON to pick up and deliver packages, meet daily schedules and resolve issues on the road. This position requires 3 years of driving experience, a valid Class 5 license, and clear English communication with customers and dispatch.

• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic-Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR)

Tuesday - Saturday

8:00am - 4:30pm (30 min. unpaid break)

40 hours per week

$22.18 per hour (Next increase after 3 months as per CBA)

The Courier picks up and delivers customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules and resolves problems as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules
• Scan packages / mail as it is received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the day
• Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic-Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR)
