Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment and plant machinery in our Edmonton area operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, document work orders, and collaborate with operations to keep production running safely and efficiently.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

What You'll Be Doing

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment, trucks, and plant machinery to maintain safe and reliable operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment servicing to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues using appropriate tools and testing equipment.
• Complete maintenance documentation, work orders, and equipment records accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with operations teams to prioritize repairs and support production goals.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.

Work Environment
