Job summary

Emterra Group is seeking a Mechanic 310T to keep our fleet in top condition in Canada. You will diagnose, repair, and service vehicles, focusing on hydraulic and electrical systems, while supporting daily shop operations as part of a skilled maintenance team.

The role requires a 310T or Red Seal license, a valid G license (DZ preferred), and strong troubleshooting skills. We offer a $3,000 retention bonus, company tools, and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• 310T or Red Seal License is required.
• Valid G License is required (DZ preferred).
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete all repairs safely and within policy and manufacturer specs.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
• Maintain up-to-date / organized work orders.
• Communicate repair status and concerns to management.
• Work as part of a team to support daily operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop/equipment area.
• Provide guidance to junior maintenance personnel.
• Suggest improvements to processes to enhance efficiency.
• Observe safe work practices.

About The Role

As a 310T Mechanic, you’ll keep our fleet running safely and efficiently. You’ll diagnose and repair vehicles, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and support daily shop operations as part of a skilled maintenance team.

Position Description

• Diagnose and complete all repairs safely and within company policy and manufacturer specifications;
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems;
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance;
• Maintain up to date/organized work orders;
• Communicate regularly with managers regarding repair status and concerns;
• Work as part of a team to support the daily needs of the operation;
• Maintain a clean & organized shop/equipment work area;
• Provide guidance and instruction to junior maintenance personnel;
• Suggest positive changes to processes or procedures to enhance operational efficiency; and
• Observe safe work practices.

What You Bring

• 310T or Red Seal License
• Valid G License (DZ preferred)
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems (asset)
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to lift 60 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
