Job summary

Independent Grocers Alliance in Laval, QC is seeking a meat wrapper to join our store team. You will handle packing, weighing, labeling, and pricing under established standards, helping create neat displays and attractive counters.

The role emphasizes one-on-one customer service, teamwork, and ongoing training opportunities, with a day shift and 25–40 hours per week. We value reliability and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• pack, weigh, label merchandise and make price changes according to established standards;
• stamp the product (weight, identification, price per kilo, etc.);
• place merchandise attractively in counters and displays;
• promote sales by suggesting complementary and/or alternative products to consumers.
