North Central Co-op invites applications for a full-time Meat Supervisor at Hawkstone Food Store in Edmonton, AB. Open availability is required.

Join a member-owned cooperative and help oversee meat operations, inventory, and merchandising while delivering excellent customer service. Prior meat and produce retail experience with leadership skills is preferred; familiarity with Microsoft Office is helpful.

Responsabilités

• Assist Meat Manager in all aspects of meat operations.
• Oversee daily meat dept operations to ensure great service.
• Manage inventory control, ordering and receiving for the department.
• Ensure proper merchandising, tagging and pricing accuracy.
• Monitor customer concerns and follow up to maintain standards.
• Participate in training and development of meat team members.
• Provide backup support for the Meat Manager as needed.

What you’ll do:

• Support the Meat Manager in all aspects of the Meat Operations
• Oversee daily operations in the meat department to maintain excellent customer service
• Oversee inventory control, ordering and receiving for the department
• Ensure the meat department is appropriately merchandised including tagging and pricing accuracy
• Maintain customer standards by tracking, monitoring and following up with customer concerns
• Participate in the training and development of meat department team members
• Perform general duties, as assigned including backup support for the Meat Manager

• You have Retail Meat Department experience
• You have previous Retail Produce experience.
• Retail Team Leadership experience would be an asset.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office Programs.
• You have exceptional interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• You have strong time management and organizational skills.
