Job summary

Conestoga Meats in Breslau, Ontario is hiring full-time General Labourers for a large meat processing facility. Starting wage is $22.02–$25.69 per hour with a 1-dollar raise after six months, plus shift premiums and overtime options.

Roles involve handling, packing, and assisting process lines in a refrigerated plant. Opportunities for internal promotion, benefits after 3 months, pension plan after 1 year, and on-site training are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in food processing is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet production deadlines.
• A Functional Work Simulation Assessment must be passed.
• Completion of some High School education

Responsibilities

• Handle heavy loads in a fast-paced plant.
• Assist processing, packaging and related duties as required.
• Transport materials and finished products within the plant.
• Assist machine operators and other workers as needed.
