Responsibilities

• Maintain Department Organization and Standards: keep the department clean, organized and properly zoned, rotating stock and removing expired items.
• Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing: ensure merchandise is signed and priced correctly, follow procedures for ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing and labeling.
• Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Practices: adhere to food safety and cold chain standards, including temperature checks and proper handling.
• Prepare and Serve Deli Products: take customer orders and prepare deli items using slicers, rotisserie ovens, deep fryers, and other equipment.
• Health and Safety Compliance: follow Health and Safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe workplace.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule): be open to evenings, weekends and holidays based on business needs.
