Job summary

The role requires 3-5 years in meat/seafood, supervisory experience, and expertise in meat cuts, handling, filleting, and merchandising, including Halal and Kosher standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in meat and/or seafood departments within a supermarket or grocery store.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of meat cuts, handling, filleting, and merchandising.
• Experience handling Halal and Kosher meat products and understanding proper handling practices.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays if required.

• Maintain attractive product displays and ensure both departments are fully stocked.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with product selection and special orders.
• Work with store management to meet sales targets and maintain department profitability.
