Job Details

• Location: Dunlop, Guelph, ON
• Type: Full Time
• Shift: Day Shift (6:30 am - 3:00 pm)
• Wage Range: $23.45 - $29.95/hr (as per collective agreement)

Starting rate for experienced Meat Cutters (3+ years of validated experience) is $23.45/hour.

Principal Responsibilities

• Deboning, trimming, and preparing meat cuts using knives in a time-sensitive environment
• Ensuring products meet client specifications
• Using specialized knives and equipment following safety and food handling standards
• Maintaining equipment in good condition
• Upholding sanitation and personal cleanliness standards
• Training entry-level employees and supervising other butchers/meat cutters
• Performing additional duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Minimum of 3 years meat cutting experience in beef/pork industrial livestock environment, using manual utensils and band saws within the last 5 years
