Job summary

Safeway in Canada is seeking a Meat Department Associate to provide friendly and professional service while preparing meat products for customer purchase and displays. You will contribute to an engaging environment and adhere to CFIA regulations.

The role involves receiving meat orders, merchandising the meat area, and supporting the Meat Manager with daily operations. A High School Diploma and at least 12 months of experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to meet customer needs.

• Perform administrative duties as required.
• Provide training to new staff as needed.
• Assist Meat Manager/Clerk Department Second Meat if applicable.
