Job summary

Timberlands Food Store in Red Deer is seeking a Meat Cutter to join our team. This casual position offers less than 24 hours per week with weekday and weekend shifts across mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Applicants should have strong customer service skills and knife handling abilities, with training available. Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a cold environment. This posting remains open until filled.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and answer customer questions.
• Slice, trim, and prepare a variety of meat; wrap and package with precision.
• Manage time to complete special orders.
• Order, receive, and display merchandise.
• Practice safe food handling procedures and wear appropriate attire.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain sanitation logs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
