Responsibilities include training Meat Cutter Trainee(s), ensuring proper sanitation, and supervising product rotation, pricing, and display to maximize sales potential.

Qualifications

• Excellent cutting skills and ability to break down product into sub-primal and retail cuts.
• Extensive knowledge of different meat and seafood cuts and cooking techniques.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to address customer needs promptly.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with teammates and vendors.
• Understanding of health, sanitation, and safety practices in a retail meat environment.
• Good time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, platters, and merchandises meat products.
• Prepares specialty meat items like sausage and cured meats.
• Maintains quality standards and prevents spoilage.
• Supports Meat Cutter Trainee(s) and trains where needed.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Ensures accurate signage, pricing and clean, sanitary conditions.
