Job summary

Sobeys Inc. in Vancouver is seeking a Meat Production Clerk to directly serve customers and expertly cut and prepare meat for display at our Safeway location. You will follow company procedures and contribute to appealing merchandise displays while upholding safety standards.

The role requires previous retail meat cutting experience, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Compensation is hourly and aligned with location and experience.

Qualifications

• Previous retail meat cutting experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of various cuts of meat is an asset; Safeway training will be provided.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

The salary range for this positionis $18.25 - $21.00We will consider factors such as your working location, work experience and skills as well as internal equity, and market conditions to ensure that you are paid fairly and competitively.
