Sobeys Inc. in Canada is seeking a Meat Production Clerk to greet customers, answer questions on grilling and nutrition, and help deliver the outstanding quality cuts Safeway is known for. You will be trained to prepare meat products for display and assist with stocking shelves.

Strong preference given to candidates with prior Retail Meat Cutting experience and knowledge of various cuts. Safeway training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in meat cutting preferred.
• Knowledge of various cuts of meat is an asset; Safeway training provided.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.

You will deal directly with customers and answer questions on everything from grilling to nutrition. Our highly skilled Meat Production Clerks are trained here to prepare the outstanding quality cuts that Safeway has built its reputation on. Experience

Here’s where you’ll have an impact:

• Strong preference will be given to candidates with previous Retail Meat Cutting experience
