Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Saskatoon is seeking a Meat Clerk for the Kensington location. You will assist customers, share product knowledge, and ensure the meat department is well stocked, fresh, and presentable while operating a cash register. Maintain a safe, sanitary work area and provide a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering friendly, helpful service to customers in a retail setting.
• Ability to share product knowledge and answer questions about meat products.
• Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and operate a cash register at the meat department.
• Maintain fresh, well stocked and clean displays.
• Provide product information and recommendations to customers.
• Ensure the meat department is organized and presented professionally.
• Uphold safety, sanitation and sanitation standards in the work area.
• Handle customer inquiries with a positive attitude.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

You have:

• A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
