Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Prince Albert, SK is looking for a Meat Clerk to support the department and serve customers with quality products. Open availability is preferred and shift times are between 6:00am and 2:30pm.

You will operate the cash register, share product knowledge, and ensure fresh, well-presented meat items while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. We value enthusiasm, integrity, and a strong work ethic; retail experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or food service is helpful.
• Strong communication and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register and assist customers.
• Stock, present and rotate meat products.
• Provide product information and recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department.
• Handle safe knife use and equipment.
• Deliver a positive customer experience.

We are hiring for a Meat Clerk at our location in Prince Albert, SK.

Open availability is preferred.

Shift times are between 6:00am - 2:30pm.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

You have:

• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
• Retail customer service experience (considered an asset).
