Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Red Deer, AB is hiring a Meat Clerk to help customers by sharing product knowledge, keeping the department well stocked and presented, and ensuring only the freshest cuts are displayed.

You will handle customer service inquiries, operate equipment safely, and contribute to a friendly, efficient team. Open availability is preferred, with perks including weekly pay, employee discounts, benefits, wellness support, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Retail customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product questions and locate items.
• Maintain fresh, well-stocked meat department.
• Ensure proper rotation and presentation of products.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.
