Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Red Deer, AB is hiring a Cashier to join our energetic team. You will operate the cash register, assist customers, and share product knowledge while ensuring shelves are stocked and the store remains clean and inviting.

Open availability is preferred, and a positive attitude goes a long way in delivering a great customer experience. We value teamwork, reliability, and the ability to go the extra mile for customers.

Qualifications

• Retail customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system.
• Strong communication and friendly demeanor with customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and answer questions.
• Restock shelves and ensure products are well presented.
• Keep checkout area clean and organized.
• Assist customers with product knowledge and recommendations.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe environment.

We are hiring for a Cashier at our Red Deer - North location in Red Deer, AB.

Open availability is preferred.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.
