Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Calgary, AB is hiring a Meat Clerk for the Walden store. This part-time role offers 15–20 hours per week with early morning to late evening shifts, and a focus on providing friendly, helpful service while keeping the meat department well stocked and presented.

You will handle customer inquiries, ensure freshness, maintain a clean work area, and work with knives and other equipment safely. Previous retail customer service experience is an asset, and you’ll join a team that values

We are hiring for a Meat Clerk at our Walden location in Calgary, AB. Open availability is preferred. Shift times are between 7:00am-10:00pm. 15-20 hours per week.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

You have:

• A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
• Retail customer service experience (considered an asset).
