Longo’s Meat Department is seeking a Meat Assistant Department Manager - Full Time who is passionate about food and thrives in a fast-paced team environment. You will support the Meat Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and great customer service.

This leadership role offers opportunities to mentor team members, manage inventory, and create appealing displays while upholding food safety and company policies. Availability to work days, evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in meat department
• Experience with cutting meat
• Knowledge of raw materials, product processes and quality control costs
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with Team Members and Customers
• Ability to lead, coach, motivate and work in a fast paced environment
• Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems
• Ownership to resolve issues with a sense of urgency
• Effective communication and listening skills
• Strong creativity skills and ability to create eye catching displays
• Ability to role model and inspire behaviour consistent with our values

Position: Meat Assistant Department Manager - Full Time

This is your opportunity to advance your career in a leadership role. As the Assistant Meat Department Manager, you will assist the Meat Manager to ensure that the department is prepared for daily operations.

• Motivate and mentor Team Members
