Job description

We are looking for a Meat Clerk - Full Time who is passionate about food and enjoy working in a fast paced, team environment! Are you passionate about the food industry?

Position: Meat Clerk - Full Time

What you’ll do:

• Ensure the quality and freshness of products by checking dates and removing substandard products
• Prepare product in keeping with department standards
• Perform special tasks as assigned
• Adhere to food safety standards
• Adhere to proper sanitization and cleaning procedures
• Follow health and workplace safety standards

What we are looking for:

• Good verbal communication skills
• Strong initiative, excellent work ethic and sense of urgency
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to adapt quickly to new situations/priorities, as well as new and changing processes
• Flexibility

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Work Environment:

• Work is performed in a standard Commissary Department environment with exposure to below normal temperatures and participation in meetings.
• Work is performed in a production room environment with temperatures ranges between 0-4 degrees.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• May be required to operate manufacturing equipment as part of role (multiple types)
