Job summary

NorthRiver Midstream in Calgary is seeking an engineer to support measurement and gas quality programs across pipelines and facilities. You will troubleshoot measurement issues, develop maintenance plans, and provide technical support to multiple stakeholders in a dynamic energy environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technologist pathway.
  • Professional Engineer registration or equivalent licensing considered.
  • 2–5 years’ upstream/midstream oil and gas facility experience.
  • Strong technical writing and multi-priority management ability.

Responsibilities

  • Support Measurement Management Program ensuring accurate measurement processes.
  • Assist Tie-In and Measurement Point Change for facilities and advise on designs.
  • Lead Gas Quality program investigations for pipelines and facilities.
  • Troubleshoot general measurement issues including discrepancies and failures.
  • Develop and maintain measurement PM plans for compliance.
  • Provide technical support to NRM stakeholders (Customers, Engineering, Operations, etc.).
  • Review and update project justifications, cost analyses, and schematics.
  • Perform technical assessments and elevate measurement risks through risk processes.
