Job summary

Element Fleet Management in Toronto is seeking a Data Engineer for Master Data Management to evolve our Enterprise Data Platform, focusing on ETL/ELT pipelines, Snowflake-based processing, and data quality management.

You will implement MDM concepts, automate data flows, and collaborate across teams to deliver trusted Golden Records and scalable data solutions that empower informed business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years in MDM, data engineering, or data stewardship.
• Strong understanding of MDM concepts and data quality.
• Hands-on SQL and ETL/ELT experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines into Snowflake and MDM.
• Develop SQL transformations for standardization, cleansing, and enrichment.
• Implement data models across staging, curated, and golden layers.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, storage, and cost.
• Define data quality rules, checks, and KPIs for pipelines.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive fixes.
• Support QA/UAT testing for enhancements, fixes, and data remediation.
• Identify automation opportunities across MDM and data pipelines.
• Drive adoption of AI-driven automation and intelligent workflows.
