Location: Richmond Hill, ON

Work setting: Tutoring service, Hybrid (both in person and remote)

Salary: $20.00 to $35.00 per hour (to be negotiated), 10 to 20 hours per week

Terms of employment: Part-time, contract, starting as soon as possible, 5 vacancies

Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience: 2 to less than 3 years

Certificates: Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate

Responsibilities

1. Assign and correct homework
2. Develop course content
3. Prepare subject material for presentation according to an approved curriculum
4. Prepare, administer, and correct tests
5. Provide tutoring assistance
6. Teach students through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations, and laboratory, shop, and field studies
7. Lead students in activities to promote their physical, mental, and social development and school readiness
