With a student population of about 4,300, the division encompasses 14 schools in the communities of Winkler, Plum Coulee, Schanzenfeld, Hochfeld, Blumenfeld, Reinland, and Blumengart.

REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Hold or be eligible to hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
  • Ability to teach mathematical concepts using clear, practical, and differentiated approached that support a range of learners would be an asset.
  • Prior knowledge of Grade 9 Social Studies curriculum and the ability to facilitate inquiry, discussion, critical thinking and analysis of historical and contemporary issues would be an asset.
  • The ability to work alongside teachers, colleagues and contribute collaboratively as a team member is essential.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check & Child Abuse Registry Check

Garden Valley Collegiate is a grades 9-12 high school that is located on Main Street in the city of Winkler. We have an estimated student population of 650, a teaching staff of almost 50 and a support staff of 25.
