Job summary

Jardeg is seeking a Materials / Warehouse Technician for Cameco at Key Lake, Saskatchewan. You will support the laydown team, handle loading/unloading, and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced project environment.

The role is day shift with a 14 on/7 off schedule, camp accommodations, and travel between hubs as needed. Must have CSTS-2020 or SCOT and WHMIS 2015, plus OS&D/MRR/MTR familiarity and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse environments with shipping/receiving.
• Proficiency in OS&D, MRRs, and MTRs is preferred.
• Ability to load/unload freight safely and accurately.
• Capable of heavy lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Clean driver’s abstract preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Laydown team and assist daily warehouse duties.
• Safely load/unload shipments with forklift and heavy lifting as needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform order picking.
• Ensure incoming freight is tagged and inventoried.
• Consolidate materials for shipment and pack for destination.

Jardeg is recruiting for Materials / Warehouse Technicain at Woodland Constructors Ltd. for Cameco at Key Lake, Saskatchewan.

As a Materials / Warehouse Tech

• You will work in coordination with the Laydown team and assist in the daily duties of the Warehouse. Safely load and unload shipments with a forklift and have the capability of some heavy lifting.
• This worker must understand the impact of this position to other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of warehouse operations.
• Inventory management, order picking, and relations with warehouse staff and customers are essential functions for this position.
• Work safely and efficiently every day, by maintaining a safe and tidy workplace
• Follow company procedures to execute daily tasks
• Physically load and offload, trucks, containers ensuring accuracy of all deliveries.
• Consolidate materials for shipment and pack appropriately for destination
• Ensure all incoming freight for warehousing is tagged and inventoried

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience working in a warehouse environment, shipping, and receiving.
• Issuing pick tickets for the field. Must be proficient with OS&D reports , MRR's , MTR's, etc.
• Experience loading and unloading enclosed trailers, flat decks, and containers.
• Physically fit and safely perform some heavy lifting up to 50lbs, able to stand for extended periods of time, indoor and outdoor
• Clean driver’s abstract.
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate considered an asset
• Experience with OS&D reports , MRR's , MTR's, etc. considered a asset
