Job summary

Jardeg Construction Services is recruiting Electrical Journeypersons for Woodland Constructors Ltd at the Cameco project in Key Lake, Saskatchewan. Camp accommodations are provided and travel is Fly In / Fly Out with hubs in Saskatoon and Prince Albert.

Responsibilities include cable tray installation, MCC and VFD work, wiring terminations, cable pulling, testing, and setting up temporary power on site. Saskatchewan license required; CSTS/SCOT 2020 and safety trainings must be current.

Qualifications

• SCOT or CSTS 2020: Mandatory.
• WHMIS 2015.
• Fall Protection.
• AWP / EWP.
• Confined Space.
• Journeyperson Saskatchewan License or Red Seal is required.
• Government Issued Identification.
• Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.

Responsibilities

• Install cable tray and supports.
• Install MCCs, MCC breakers, VFDs, Disconnects, Start/Stop stations, marshalling junction boxes, lighting and receptacles.
• Cable pull and strapping.
• Glanding and terminations in PLC, marshalling junction boxes, MCCs and panels.
• Cable verification and testing.
• Temp power setup – pulling cable, glanding and terminating cable, setting up light plants and power distribution skids.
