Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking a Materials Technician to support shutdowns across Alberta. You will receive, inspect, and document materials, manage inventory, and coordinate storage and distribution at fast-paced project sites.

Ideal candidates have experience in industrial settings, proficiency with inventory systems, and the ability to operate forklifts, all while maintaining strict safety standards during outages and turnarounds.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Materials Technician or similar role in industrial environments.
• Experience managing inventory, shipping/receiving, and material control processes.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to read packing lists, purchase orders, material specs, and shipping docs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and equipment for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage material inventory, tracking, issuing, and replenishing stock for operations.
• Coordinate storage, handling, and distribution of materials while keeping laydown areas organized.
• Verify packing slips, shipping documents, and material certifications for completeness and accuracy.
• Conduct routine inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate records.
