We are seeking a Materials Engineering Student for our Canadian Industrial Division that is available for 8 months starting in May 2025. This position will be under the direct supervision of the Materials Manager. As a Materials Engineering Student, you will contribute to our team by:

1. Using and maintaining PCL and external client systems to help manage the project.
2. Effectively storing documentation and understanding data management for retention, project information/turnover, etc.
3. Maintaining inventory levels on commonly ordered material and supplies.
4. Expediting orders.
5. Performing administrative and/or physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing inventory.
6. Practicing PCL safety practices.
7. Performing ad hoc duties as required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an engineering specialization in a post-secondary institution.
• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Maintains a positive working relationship with clients.
• Ability to perform multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
