Job summary

Arc’teryx North Vancouver is seeking a Material Coordinator to support the textile team with data integrity, tech-pack prep, and cross-functional coordination.

You will learn alongside industry partners, help translate material developments into market-ready solutions, and contribute to stage-gate reviews, with a hybrid office arrangement in Canada.

Candidates should have 1+ years in apparel materials, experience with PLM systems, and strong Excel skills; a passion for outdoor gear is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years in apparel/equipment industry related to trims/materials.
  • Degree in Materials Science, Textile Technology, Product or Textile Design or equivalent.
  • Passion for data engineering and organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PLM systems.
  • Interest in textile manufacturing and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring data integrity across Centric PLM, material trackers, and libraries.
  • Preparing seasonal material validation tech packs for handoff to Quality team.
  • Scheduling cross-functional and supplier meetings.
  • Assisting with testing and evaluating textiles using Arc’teryx lab testing.
  • Overhauling historical data in Centric for fabric specs and test reports.
  • Preparing digital and physical material boards for stage gate reviews.
  • Coordinating reporting and metrics for the RMD manager.
  • Maintaining lab equipment maintenance schedules.
