Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Waterdown, Ontario, invites applications for a 16-month Materials Co-op starting May 2026. You will support the Operations Team, learn Materials Management processes, and gain hands-on experience with parts picking, receiving, and ERP LN transactions.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a university co-op program, with strong data entry and Excel skills, and an interest in continuous improvement within a defense-related supply chain.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a recognized co-op program in university.
• Operations or Materials background preferred.
• Must be able to obtain CGP clearance.
• Co-op term starts May 2026 and runs for 16 months.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a continuous improvement team to add value to the current materials process.
• Pick parts for Assembly kits and backfill shortages on the production floor.
• Receive material from the dock and store it properly.
• Put away material from receiving dock and/or shop floor.
• Cycle count material and trace inventory discrepancies to root cause.
• Transact material into the LN ERP system and support stores team as needed.
• Transfer material to shipping, complete paperwork, and move parts to shipping location.
• Move and handle materials up to 50 lbs with assistance.
