Job description

Brandt is currently seeking a Material Planner for our Regina location.

Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, the Material Planner is responsible for ensuring that all materials and components purchased from suppliers are delivered according to the needs of the Daily Production Schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Maintain inter-plant purchase orders for parts produced at other facilities.
2. Establish the required materials and generate purchase orders.
3. Confirm materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-effective.
4. Ensure a consistent and acceptable supply of materials necessary for production.
5. Coordinate with other departments regarding production targets, timelines, and supplier payments.
6. Manage inventory stock issues such as schedule changes and cancellations.
7. Track production volume to make necessary purchase adjustments to accommodate changes in demand.
