Job summary

Bombardier in Montreal's Marcel-Laurin Plant seeks a Material Logistics Agent to join our Aerospace Canada organization. You will align supply with production, ensuring on-time parts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

We value bilingual communication and a background in logistics or industrial engineering, with a commitment to quality, efficiency, and safe operations. Flexible and hybrid work options are available where applicable.

Qualifications

• Interest in planning and coordinating work, with a focus on value-added production.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Experience in the aeronautical or automotive field is an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics or industrial engineering, operations management, or related field; college diploma with equivalent work experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Participate in constructing the most complete business jets.
• Communicate information on shortages and work closely with supply and manufacturing logistics teams.
• Ensure required parts and materials are present on time on the assembly line.
• Interact with multifunctional teams across logistics, methods, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Production, etc.
• Define and implement an inventory management strategy aligned with capital management.
• Support the integration of new tools into Bombardier’s manufacturing system.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Participate in the construction of the most complete business jets in the industry;
• Communicate information on shortages and work closely with supply and manufacturing logistics teams;
• Ensure that the required parts and materials are present on time on the assembly line;
• Interact with several multifunctional teams - either with logistics, supply, methods, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Production, etc,;
• Ensure adherence to production timelines, and if necessary, orchestrate catch-up plans with all stakeholders;
• Define and implement an inventory management strategy that integrates well with the capital management strategy;
• Support the integration of new tools into the Bombardier manufacturing system.

• You demonstrate a great interest in planning, coordinating work, continuous improvement and value-added production;
• You are bilingual (French and English);
• You have relevant experience in the aeronautical or automotive field, an asset;
• You have a bachelor's degree in logistics or industrial engineering, operations management or any other related field or a college diploma with equivalent work experience;
