Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada is seeking a Material Handler in the Longueuil area to distribute materials, receive and issue parts, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves lifting, operating material handling vehicles and using inventory software.

Ideal candidates have a DEP in aeronautics or logistics and 1–2 years of industrial experience, with teamwork, basic Windows skills and forklift certification being a plus. Bilingual English not required; French environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Distribute material across all areas of the plant.

• Drive various material handling vehicles, incl. forklift.
• Perform inventories as needed.

What your daily life will look like

• Handling of parts, engines
• Receiving / shipping

What you need to succeed

• DEP in aeronautics, logistics or any other related training
• 1 to 2 years of work experience in an industrial environment
• Ability to perform manual work with various tools
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team
• Shows initiative
• Knowledge of using a computer in a Windows environment
• Ability to drive a forklift and other industrial vehicle
• This position is part of a francophone work environment and does not require any knowledge of English.
