Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler I based in Vaughan, ON. The role involves warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation and cycle counting under the supervision of the Logistics Supervisor.

You will perform duties in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate handling of goods, paperwork and contributing to production support for the automated packing system. Strong teamwork and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License must be certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation and cycle counting.
• Adhere to contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Manage day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core production hours.
