Job summary

ATCO Structures is seeking a Forklift Operator (Material Handler) at the Rockyview Manufacturing facility. The role is full-time, union, and involves organizing materials, unloading shipments, and delivering items to workstations.

You will process receiving documents and support the Production team with line moves while prioritizing safety and accuracy. The ideal candidate has 5+ years forklift experience, supervisory exposure, and comfort with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Certified Forklift Operator with 5+ years of forklift experience.
• Shift 6:30 am–3:30 pm MST, Monday to Friday; flexibility to 8:00–4:30 pm MST.
• Supervisory experience in warehouse/manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong coaching and leadership skills; safety is a top priority.

Responsibilities

• Organize assigned areas and materials for efficient workflow.
• Operate forklift to unload incoming shipments from transport trailers.
• Process receiving paperwork such as packing slips and bill of lading.
• Deliver materials to workstations and storage locations.
• Complete inventory transactions and cycle counts.
• Assist with garbage and recycling removal.
• Support Production with line moves as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

As a Forklift Operator (Material Handler), you will be responsible for assisting with Material Handling activities within our Rockyview Manufacturing facility, where we design and build modular buildings. This is a full time, permanent, union role.

Job Responsibilities

• Accountable for the organization of assigned areas and materials.
• Operate Forklift and to unload incoming shipments from transport trailers.
• Process receiving paperwork such as packing slips and bill of lading.
• Deliver materials to workstations and storage locations.
• Complete inventory consumption on all inventory transactions relocations.
• Assist with garbage and recycling removal process.
• Support the Production team with line moves as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Certified Forklift Operator with at least 5+ years of experience in operating a forklift and material handling experience.
• Ability to work scheduled shift from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm MST (Monday to Friday), but flexibility may be required at times to work 8:00 to 4:30 pm MST.
• Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong coaching and leadership skills preferred.
• A demonstrated commitment to safety, it is your top priority.
• Knowledge and experience with material receiving processes and cycle counts.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment and deliver results on time and in a safe manner.
• Comfortable using ERP and any other relevant software
