Job summary

Integra in Harrow, Ontario is seeking a reliable Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, and material movement between the warehouse and production floor.

You will operate forklifts, stack and transport parts, and ensure work areas stay clean, safe, and organized while meeting production deadlines.

Starting rate is $26.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including healthcare, life and disability insurance, paid time off, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience required; certification preferred.
• Ability to operate pallet jack and forklift.
• Ability to follow instructions, independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping, receiving, and material handling between the warehouse and production.

• Deliver materials to departments and between plant locations using signals/KANBAN.

In addition, this person will need to keep up with demand and supply stations consistently until work order is complete. Qualified candidates will also learn all areas of warehouse receiving department so that they can be a back-up and well-rounded in everyday functions of the material handler for the factory.

What you will do?

• Working to assist with shipping, receiving, and material handling between the warehouse and production facility
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials and products
• Safely load, unload, and stack products and materials - may be inside or outside of the facility
• Delivers materials to various departments and between plant locations, utilizing electronic signals and/or KANBAN (visual controls) as to when materials are to move
• Ensures work areas are kept clean and organized
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment
• Performs miscellaneous duties as required
• Follows instructions and all safety procedures

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have previous forklift experience - Forklift certified preferred
• The ability to perform freight handling duties with a manual pallet jack/fork lift
• The ability to follow instructions, either while working independently, or as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a warehouse or production environment.

Starting Rate of Pay: $26.00/hour
