Job summary

HERD North America is hiring a dedicated Material Handler for our Winnipeg, MB facility. You will store parts, move materials to production areas, and keep inventory records accurate to support efficient assembly lines.

Ideal candidates have attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to train on forklift operation and basic inventory software. On‑the‑job training and solid benefits accompany a full‑time permanent role.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a material handling or warehouse role is an asset.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
  • Forklift license (an asset) or willingness to complete training.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to follow safety and production standards.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written English).
  • Reliable transportation – HERD is not accessible by public transit.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure parts are properly stored in designated locations.
  • Deliver materials to the appropriate areas throughout the facility.
  • Maintain accurate bin locations and inventory records.
  • Perform pre‑use inspections and maintain equipment logs.
  • Assist with receiving shipments and verifying materials.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet production needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Other general duties as assigned.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
