Job summary

Lactalis Canada is seeking a Material Handler to support production operations by keeping work areas clean and organized, assisting with shipping/receiving, and rotating across multiple stations on the line. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, adaptable, and able to work rotating 8-hour shifts including days, afternoons, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications include a secondary school diploma and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and operate in a food-manufacturing

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school (OSSD or equivalent).
• Ability to quickly identify and take action in a safe manner.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Experience in manufacturing, especially food industry, is an asset.
• Available to work days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and organizing areas within the plant as required.
• Fulfilling duties assigned in compliance with OHSA.
• Adhere to safe work practices, GMPs, Health & Safety, Food Safety & Environmental Standards.
• Supporting shipping and receiving operations as needed.
• Working on manufacturing/assembly lines in different stations as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
