Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas, Inc is looking to hire a Material Handler who will perform physical and clerical duties related to the shipping, receiving, and storing of tires, related materials and equipment in the warehouse. The Material Handler position is a full time position that works out of the Ontario, California warehouse.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following

• Load, unload, check and tally tires to and from carriers
• Store tires in assigned warehouse locations
• Select, pack, mark and palletize tires for customer orders and places them in assigned staging areas
• Check and verify accuracy of selecting, packing, marking and counting of tires for customer orders
• Operate forklifts, squeeze lifts, and other equipment in the execution of these duties
• Perform required counting, tallying, and marking on related inventory control
• Document paperwork pertaining to each warehouse function to ensure it is accurate and complete
• Participate in all inventories taken at the warehouse
• Perform housekeeping duties by palletizing, re-palletizing, and restacking tires to conform to standards and objectives set by management
• Perform other misc. warehouse-related and housekeeping duties set forth by management
• Other duties as assigned

The pay rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a warehouse or similar position required. Forklift certification a plus.
