Job summary

PTW Energy Services, Inc. in Calgary is seeking a Material Handler to support outdoor operations and the efficient movement of materials in a busy yard.

You will receive work orders, pre-pull material lists, unload shipments, and coordinate with Production and Procurement to ensure stock availability. Candidates should have 2+ years in a similar role, be forklift-certified if possible, able to identify materials by metric and imperial dimensions, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Active forklift certification an asset.
• Proficient in identifying materials by dimensions (metric and imperial).
• Experience with rigging and overhead crane use an asset.
• Must have CSA approved safety boots.
• Must be able to manually lift up to 50lbs.
• Must have own transportation as location is not accessible by public transit.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Receives work order pre-pull materials list from Planner and coordinates inventory availability with Production and Procurement departments.
• Processes all received shipments to ensure materials meet purchase order specifications.
• Receives and unloads parts, picks and packages products for fabrication and detail departments.
• Ensures accuracy of received shipments by comparing quantity and type of goods to documentation (waybills, packing slips, PO).
• Provides team with information on items short shipped, over shipped, or damaged.
• Notifies supervisor of irregularities and when stock reaches re-order point.
• Assists in cycle counts and physical inventory counts.

Role Summary:

We are hiring a Material Handlerto help with day-to-dayoutdoor operations, including the safe and efficient movement of materials, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining an organized yard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receives work order pre-pull materials list from Planner and coordinates inventory availability with Production and Procurement departments.
