Job summary

Gypsum Management and Supply is seeking a driver for Maple, Ontario, to safely operate a commercial vehicle and deliver building materials to customer job sites. You will assist with on-site delivery, perform light physical tasks, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely, accurate, and secure loads.

The role requires a valid Class 3 or DZ license, good math and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3/DZ driver's license with clean abstract.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics.
• Basic hand tool skills.
• Completion of high school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Prioritize personal safety and the safety of those around you.
• Communicate professionally with customers, co-workers, and trades on site.
• Maintain contact with dispatch and work to resolve issues as they arise.
• Prepare trucks for reloading and assist warehouse staff as needed.
• Verify load security and accuracy.
• Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers.
• Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures.
