Job summary

Cargojet is seeking a Maintenance Materials Inventory Clerk at YHM to manage daily inventory control, storage, and shipping of maintenance materials for our air cargo operations.

You will respond to maintenance requests, issue parts from the database, and ensure accurate stock reconciliation. This role requires organization, basic data entry, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in parts, warehouse, or material handling.
• Well organized, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Requires mathematical aptitude.
• Experience with SAP is an asset.

• Respond quickly and efficiently to requests from Maintenance for parts and materials.

• Shipping and Receiving of Maintenance Comat to and from Cargojet bases.
• Shipping or delivery of parts/tooling to repair shops.
• Monitor parts/tools for inventory control and shelf life.
• Deliver parts/tools to aircraft at various locations around the airport to support Aircraft Maintenance.

Primary Objective Of The Position

Daily Inventory control, storage & shipping of Maintenance Materials in YHM.

Essential Position Functions

• Respond quickly & efficiently to requests from Maintenance for parts & materials.
• Issue parts and tooling from maintenance database and reconcile stock as necessary.
• Shipping & Receiving of Maintenance Comat to and from Cargojet bases.
• Shipping or Delivery of Parts / Tooling to Repair shops.
• Monitor parts / tools for inventory control and shelf life.
• Deliver parts/ tooling to aircraft at various locations around the airport to support Aircraft Maintenance.
• Various other duties incidental to the work described herein.

Minimum Qualifications

• Work experience related to parts, warehouse, or material handling.
• Must be very well organized, scheduled and have experience working with minimal supervision.
• Work requires a mathematical aptitude.
• Work involves data entry to Inventory database and intermediate proficiency with MS Outlook, and basic proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel.
• Detail oriented, excellent communication skills.
• Work experience with SAP is an asset
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize workloads in a high-pressure environment.
• Able to safely lift 60 lbs. and be able to maneuver/ balance a 350 lb. Main wheel.
• Must have a valid Drivers License; must possess or qualify for valid Drivers Airside Pass.
• Good Housekeeping / Organizing skills.
• Aviation Parts experience would be a definite asset.
