Job summary

General Contractor in Vancouver seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead residential and mixed projects up to $70m+. You will direct multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and profitability across the portfolio.

The role reports to the VP of Construction and emphasizes strong client and consultant relations, detailed documentation, and proactive risk management in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management with a proven track record.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with understanding of business development and operations.
• Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or related discipline an asset.
• Certifications such as Eng., PMP, Passive House, LEED, GSC, Mass Timber or similar are an asset.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, budgets, costs and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in health, safety, and environmental protection on the project per HSE standards.
• Collaborates with VP, estimators, and business development during bid and pre-construction to create budgets and schedules.
• Directs Client and Consultant teams to optimize project outcomes and manage risk.
• Prepares and negotiates construction contracts with VP guidance.
• Manages a portfolio of midsize to large projects with oversight of teams and finances.
• Ensures project lifecycle from initiation to closeout is executed with quality and profitability.
