The Haebler Group, a respected Vancouver-based construction firm, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee one to two projects, managing cost, scheduling, quality control and contract administration. This full-time role offers growth opportunities within a strong team and high-quality projects.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, using MS Project/Office and Procore, basic estimating for concrete and wood-frame builds, and ensuring BC Building Code compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 5 years experience in the Canadian construction industry.
• Based in the Lower Mainland.
• Successfully completed a new build construction project valued at over $10 million from inception to completion as a Project Manager.
• Education: BCIT Diploma or Canadian Engineering Degree (Preferred).

Aufgaben

• Interpret and work from construction drawings.
• Proficient in MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite, and Procore; experience with Sage is an asset.
• Basic estimating skills, with knowledge of both concrete and wood frame construction.
• Familiarity with the BC Building Code and high-quality construction standards.
• Understanding of WorkSafeBC regulations.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively; Manage one or two projects under the guidance of a senior project manager.
• Handle RFIs, site instructions, shop drawings, change requests, and meeting documentation.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, including critical path analysis.
• Conduct site visits and coordinate design changes, inspections, code compliance, and deficiency resolution.
• Negotiate, prepare, and manage subcontracts, including change orders and dispute resolution.
