Job summary

Immiland Canada seeks talented builders and masons to contribute to diverse projects across Canada. You will supervise crews, coordinate activities, and ensure timely delivery while upholding safety standards.

Experience in construction and ability to work with various trades is essential. Fluency in English is required to participate in our fast-paced environment and processes.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Several years of experience in the trade or the work area supervised are required.
• Some experience as a general construction labourer.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of construction workers engaged in bricklaying, roofing, cement finishing, tile setting, plastering, drywall installation, glazing, insulating and painting, and workers who install and service prefabricated products in residential and commercial properties.
• Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades required at construction sites.
• Assist in drilling and blasting rock at construction sites.
• Assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean, and pile salvaged materials.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment.
• Assist miners in excavating and in setting up and operating various drills and other surface mining machinery.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other subcontractors.
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Requisition materials and supplies.
• Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
• Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions.
• Prepare work progress reports.
• May manage the operations of own company.
• May also supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of related apprentices, helpers and labourers.

Responsabilities
